Flying High this summer!

We are now well in to the summer peak season for private jet charter and helicopter charter, but where are people going? Execflyer air charter has looked back at our private jet charter and helicopter flights so far this busy summer to look at where the big hits of the this year are!

Private jet charter within Europe has seen an increase this year, particularly within the VLJ sector, and we are seeing very high demand for cost effective Very Light Jet aircraft such as the Citation Mustang, Eclipse 500 and Embraer Phenom.

This summer, our most popular destinations for private jet charter have been predominantly the south of France, with Toulon/Hyeres airport serving St Tropez and its fantastic nightlife, beaches and of course the stunning location on the Mediterranean.

Another firm favourite with in the jet charter market has been the Spanish islands of Palma and for the more outgoing, Ibiza – the clubbing capital of the world.

Due to their popularity, these areas also see a high number of empty legs going to and from the UK, which more and more people are starting to utilise in conjunction with commercial flights to allow them to experience the private jet charter world at a fraction of the cost.
